Big Lawn Music Series @ Suttle Lake Lodge

FRI – This summer’s Big Lawn Music Series concludes Friday evening with Alex Crowson (with Jeffrey Silverstein).

First Annual Swing Dance @ Galaxy Of Stars, Redmond

FRI-SAT – Learn Chicago-style steppin’ and walking during classes on both Friday and Saturday at Galaxy Of Stars in Redmond.

Little Woody Bend Barrel-Aged Beer, Cider & Whisky Festival

FRI-SAT – The Little Woody Barrel-Aged Beer, Cider & Whiskey Festival celebrates barrel-aged libations from across the Northwest

Free Concerts @ The Backyard at Sunriver Resort

FRI-SUN – Bring the family, pull up a blanket and enjoy live music at The Backyard at Sunriver Resort! A different live band will be featured each concert day. Delicious food and local brews, wine and cocktails will be offered during each concert.

SAT – Head to the Central Oregon Saturday Market featuring local artists, businesses, and produce.

CROP Farmer’s Market

SAT – CROP announces a Saturday Farmers Market in Prineville at Stryker Park. Come buy locally grown produce, beef, pork, bison, lavender and so much more. Support our local farmers/ranchers.

Summer Lovin’ Sangria Party @ Maragas Winery

SAT – Enjoy an afternoon of live music from 12 pm – 3 pm at Maragas Winery.

Sisters Fall Street Festival

SAT-SUN – Sisters Fall Street Festival is in its 12th year. It is a successful annual event that features a Variety of Arts, Crafts, Some Antiques, Some Commercial, Food, Beer-Wine Garden, Entertainment and a special fundraiser benefiting a charity (TBA). This event is on Oak & Main Streets in Downtown Sisters.

Barlow Trail Rendezvous Days @ Wamic

SAT-MON – Barlow Trail Rendezvous Days commemorates Wamic’s status as “the gateway to the Barlow Trail.” This family event includes games, food, a cakewalk, a chili cook-off, a parade, Tom’s Train, a quilt show, period costumes, and black powder exhibitions by mountain men & cowboys.

Sunriver Half-Marathon

SAT-SUN – The annual Sunriver Half-Marathon is not only a popular distance race, but also a benefit to raise funds for Bend’s St. Charles Cancer Center. This event also inclueds 10k, 5k, and kids races.

Sisters Farmers Market @ Fir Street Park

SUN – Sisters Farmers Market invites you to come on down for some small-town fun! Share the bounty of our special town in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Microlocal produce, artisanal foods, handcrafted goods, & more! Now on Sundays—featuring lunch, coffee, wellness demos, music, and a splash pad for the kids.

Hoedown At The Ranch

SUN – Join us for the first annual Hoedown at the Ranch. We’re celebrating the end of summer with a full day of live music, a keg rolling race, stein holding competitions, kids’ games, food throughout the day, tipi bars and more. Sure, there’ll be hay bales and dancing, but this isn’t your average hoedown. Come experience a hoedown – Brasada Ranch style.

Labor Day, Monday, Sep. 2

The Dixieland Band @ Fir Street Park

SUN – Come out to Faith, Hope, & Charity Vineyards for a Labor Day Celebration with The Dixieland Band! Family-friendly event with an old fashioned barbecue and yard games. Bring the whole family and invite your neighbors too.

Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Canoeing

THROUGH AUG 30 – Head to the Deschutes River for a tour of Tumalo Creek on a rented device. View the crystal blue waters in the middle of the Deschutes National Forest.

Sunset Dinners

THROUGH SEP 7 – Mt. Bachelor hosts stunning views for a romantic sunset dinner. Enjoy an eight-course meal with friends or family and end your night with a moonlight chairlift ride down the Mountain.

Mt. Bachelor Bike Park

ONGOING – The Mt. Bachelor Bike Park offers 13 miles of downhill trails and different options for various skill levels.

Live Music

ONGOING – The Volcanic Theatre and Pub hosts live music that’ll move you. Check their calendar for live theatre and movies as well!

A Starry Night At The Observatory

ONGOING – Come to the Oregon Observatory at Sunriver at night and view a guided constellation tour with experts.
