Interested in RVing or camping? Come join us at FMCA’s International Convention & RV Expo Presented By Beaver Coach Sales August 14-17, 2024, at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center! Check out indoor and outdoor exhibits as well as RV displays. This event is perfect for RV enthusiasts or families thinking about joining the RV lifestyle. Public gate tickets to see the RV displays and exhibits are $10/person or $25 for a family of 3 or more. Children under 12 and Active Military are free. Daily Passport tickets that include access to RV displays, exhibits, seminars, and entertainment are $50/person. Children 12 and under are free.

FRI., Aug. 16 – Seussical The Musical

TMP presents Seussical the Musical at Open Space Studios Aug 15-17.  Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Take your skills to the next level with our Pickleball Clinics! Meet your instructor: Justin Rose, a Duper 5.3 with 2 certifications IFP/IPTPA, grew up in New Hampshire in a competitive sports family and played tennis through college, including on Bend’s over-40 travel team. Transitioning to pickleball was natural for him. He has over 5 years of pickleball experience and has been teaching for the last 3 years at Broken Top Club and Pickleball Zone in Bend. 24-hour advanced booking required. WED., Aug. 21 – Sunriver Music Festival Classical Concert III: FIRE

This concert opens with Beethoven’s depiction of the God of Fire via his Overture from The Creatures of Prometheus before hearing Haydn’s “Fire“ Symphony.
