Friday, Aug. 9

Sunriver Art Fair

• FRI-SUN – The Sunriver Art Fair was voted among the top 10 small-town art fairs in the country. This event attracts over 70 artists from across the country in 11 different mediums: ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, gourd art, woodwork, metalwork, and mixed media.

Ghost Tree Invitational @ Pronghorn Resort

• FRI – The Subaru of Bend Ghost Tree Invitational is a signature Bend event that is both a golf tournament and an incredible night of dining and dancing at beautiful Pronghorn Resort. This is the party of the season!! Proceeds benefit local charities.

George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic @ Oregon Spirit Distillers

• FRI – Oregon Spirit Distillers invites you to a live performance from George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic on August 9th at 7 pm. George Clinton is one of the most respected R&B performers of this century (and last!). Don’t miss his one and only Bend performance.

The Village at Funriver Street Party @ Tumbleweed Toys

• FRI – The Village At Sunriver invites the entire family to Funriver in the Village every Friday from July 26th thru August 16th. Come to the kid’s play area next to Tumbleweed Toys in The Village from 1:00pm-2:30 pm for music, dancing, games, giveaways and more!! This is fun for all ages

Stars Over Newberry @ Lava Butte

• FRI – Stars Over Newberry is a magical event that takes place atop Lava Butte in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Enjoy featured stargazing with Worthy Garden Club and Sisters Astronomy Club, live music, a silent auction, delicious Worthy beer, wine from Volcano Vineyards and creative bites from Bowtie Catering. This event raises much-needed funds for conservation education programs which connect over 9000 kids annually with public lands on free field trips.

Saturday, Aug. 10

Central Oregon Saturday Market

• SAT – Head to the Central Oregon Saturday Market featuring local artists, businesses, and produce.

CROP Farmer’s Market

• SAT – CROP announces a Saturday Farmers Market in Prineville at Stryker Park. Come buy locally grown produce, beef, pork, bison, lavender and so much more. Support our local farmers/ranchers.

Country Fair & Art Show @ Sisters

• SAT – The Country Fair & Art Show in Sisters is a GREAT event for the entire family. This annual event features a juried art show, silent auction, book sale, children’s activities, music, delicious food, famous marionberry cobbler, country store, cake walks and more! Free admission. All proceeds go to local support agencies.

B-52s with Special Guests @ Les Schwab Amphitheater

• SAT – Do not miss the B-52s 40th Anniversary Tour at the Les Schwab Amphitheater on Aug 10th. This iconic band has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. They will be joined by special guests Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (aka O.M.D.) and Berlin.

Music On The Water

• SAT – Elk Lake Resort hosts a summer music series sponsored by Boneyard Beer and Crater Lake Spirits. Float on the lake or sit in front of the stage and enjoy live music.

Summer Concert Series @ Sunriver

• SAT – Bring the family, pull up a blanket and enjoy the music of Toast And Jam at The Backyard at Sunriver Resort! A different live band will be featured each concert day. Delicious food and local brews, wine and cocktails will be offered during each concert.

Sunday, Aug 11

Sisters Farmers Market @ Fir Street Park

• SUN – Sisters Farmers Market invites you to come on down for some small-town fun! Share the bounty of our special town in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Microlocal produce, artisanal foods, handcrafted goods, & more! Now on Sundays—featuring lunch, coffee, wellness demos, music, and a splash pad for the kids.

Turf Tunes @ SHARC

• SUN – The SHARC brings you fun, FREE weekly concerts throughout the summer on Sunday afternoons. Bring a blanket or low chair to SHARC’s John Gray Amphitheater for “Turf Tunes”. Food carts and vendors will be available plus fresh produce farmers market.

Ongoing

Glow Ball Golf

• THROUGH AUG 28 – Glow all night at Sunriver Resort with glowing golf balls, a putter, and fun time with the family.

Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Canoeing

• THROUGH AUG 30 – Head to the Deschutes River for a tour of Tumalo Creek on a rented device. View the crystal blue waters in the middle of the Deschutes National Forest.

Sunset Dinners

• THROUGH SEPT 7 – Mt. Bachelor hosts stunning views for a romantic sunset dinner. Enjoy an eight-course meal with friends or family and end your night with a moonlight chairlift ride down the Mountain.

Mt. Bachelor Bike Park

• ONGOING – The Mt. Bachelor Bike Park offers 13 miles of downhill trails and different options for various skill levels.

Live Music

• ONGOING – The Volcanic Theatre and Pub hosts live music that’ll move you. Check their calendar for live theatre and movies as well!

A Starry Night At The Observatory

• ONGOING – Come to the Oregon Observatory at Sunriver at night and view a guided constellation tour with experts.
