4th Of July @ Black Butte Ranch

July 4th Pet Parade and Old Fashioned Festival

  • THU– Join us for a Bend tradition dating back to 1932 – a July 4th filled with old fashioned fun, food and festivities brought to you by Bend Park & Recreation District.

4th of July 5K Fun Run @ Sunriver Resort

  • THU– This fun run will take runners through the Sunriver meadows, with views of Mt. Bachelor and Central Oregon wildlife.

Traditional 4th of July Fun @ Pronghorn Resort

  • THUPronghorn invites you to escape the crowd in town and get in on all the traditional 4th of July fun with a golf cart parade, games and activities for the kids, great food and drinks, and maybe even a round on the course!

First Friday Gallery Walk @ Old Mill District

  • FRI– Stop by each gallery in the Old Mill District during the First Friday Gallery Walk on every first Friday of the month year-round.

“The Greatest Little Rodeo In Oregon” @ La Pine Rodeo Grounds

  • FRI-SAT – “The Greatest Little Rodeo in Oregon” happens in La Pine on the 5th and 6th of July… This is an NPR Sanctioned Rodeo and gets you up close and personal to these amazing athletes and exciting animals.

Exhibition Opening: Moon Country @ High Desert Museum

  • SAT – More than 50 years ago, as the space race between the United States and Soviet Union reached a fever pitch, Central Oregon played an important yet little-known role in preparing U.S. astronauts for lunar landscapes. Moon Country: Oregon and the Space Race, an original exhibit celebrating this region’s involvement in the first lunar landing, opens at the High Desert Museum on Saturday, July 6.

Wildflower Show and Pollinator Festival @ Sunriver Nature Center

  • SAT – Join ONDA on Saturday, July 6 at the Sunriver Nature Center for the 2019 Wildflower Show and Pollinator Festival! Volunteers will share information about ONDA’s restoration and conservation initiatives, set up and break down the ONDA table and connect community members with our work. View hundreds of native wildflowers, a honeybee hive demonstration, local art and more while supporting conservation of these species’ vital high desert habitats.

Saturday Market

Sisters Farmers Market @ Fir Street Park

  • SUNSisters Farmers Market invites you to come on down for some small-town fun! Share the bounty of our special town in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Microlocal produce, artisanal foods, handcrafted goods, & more! Now on Sundays—featuring lunch, coffee, wellness demos, music, and a splash pad for the kids.

Hyatus at Turf Tunes @ SHARC

  • SUN – The SHARC brings you fun, FREE weekly concerts throughout the summer on Sunday afternoons. Bring a blanket or low chair to SHARC’s John Gray Amphitheater for “Turf Tunes”. Food carts and vendors will be available plus fresh produce farmers market.

Glow Ball Golf

  • THROUGH AUG 28Glow all night at Sunriver Resort with glowing golf balls, a putter, and fun time with the family.

Sunset Dinners

  • THROUGH SEPT 7Mt. Bachelor hosts stunning views for a romantic sunset dinner. Enjoy an eight-course meal with friends or family and end your night with a moonlight chairlift ride down the Mountain.

Bike Park Opening

  • ONGOING – The Mt. Bachelor Bike Park offers 13 miles of downhill trails and different options for various skill levels.

Live Music

  • ONGOING – The Volcanic Theatre and Pub hosts live music that’ll move you. Check their calendar for live theatre and movies as well!

A Starry Night At The Observatory

  • ONGOING – Come to the Oregon Observatory at Sunriver at night and view a guided constellation tour with experts.
