Friday, Nov. 1

Gravity Sports Sale @ Mount Bachelor

  • FRI – Join us in celebrating the release of ONDA’s 2020 Wild Desert Calendar at the Deschutes Brewery Public House in Bend. Meet the photographers featured in this year’s calendar and enjoy a First Friday filled with food, drink, and stunning conservation photography from local artists and community members. This event is free and open to all, so invite a friend to come along. We hope to see you there!

Snowflake Boutique @ Deschutes County Expo Center

  • FRI-SAT – Join us in celebrating the release of ONDA’s 2020 Wild Desert Calendar at the Deschutes Brewery Public House in Bend. Monster Truck Fall Nationals @ Deschutes County Expo Center

  • FRI-SAT – Coming to the Expo, it’s Monsters of Destruction monster trucks! Catch all the action November 1&2. This thrill-show features six of the world’s top monster trucks, tuff trucks, and the monster ride truck!

Scaregrounds @ Deschutes County Expo Center

  • FRI-SAT – Scare yourself silly at three separate attractions at the Deschutes County Expo Center starting this Friday and running each subsequent Friday & Saturday until November 2.

Evil Dead – The Musical @ The Cascades Theatre

  • FRI-through Nov. 9 – It’s an old tale…one you’ve heard six times before. Five college students go off to an old abandoned cabin in the woods and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them into hilarious dancing, singing Zombies! Sing and shout along with Bend’s favorite Zombie Musical, Directed by Sandy Klein & Tracie Wrisley, Music Direction by Rick Buckley Featuring The Evil Bobby Band Through November 9 at The Cascades Theatre.

 


Saturday, Nov. 2

Happy Girls Run @ Five Pines Lodge, Sisters

  • SAT – The Happy Girl courses are recognized by both first-time racers and seasoned runners alike as being inspiring and fun. The scenic half marathon along Peterson Ridge is a quasi challenging trail but worth it with the views of beautiful Sisters, OR. The 5K, is a great run right through downtown Sisters. Both distances will enjoy amazing swag bags, social hour at the Girls Night Out packet pickup and a lively post-run party.

Huck It For Housing @ The Piggyback Ranch, Bend

  • SAT – The First Annual Huck It For Housing! is a benefit for the Kôr Community Land Trust, and provides fun for the whole family! High school science teams will be making their own trebuchet, doing preliminary calculations, and launching pumpkins across a heritage pig farm in Bend for the win. In addition to fall fun, there will be a chili feed contest with local participating restaurants.

Tig Notaro @ The Tower Theatre

  • SAT – Tig Notaro is a groundbreaking stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer, and director originally from Mississippi. Hailed for her effortless storytelling and fearless stage presence, her subject matter ranges from the delightfully absurd to the monumentally serious. Rolling Stone recently named Tig “one of the 50 best stand-up comics of all time.”

Gravity Sports Sale @ Mt. Bachelor

  • SAT-SUN We’re doing it again…join us the weekend of November 2-3 and save big at our Gravity Sports shop sale! Head up to Mt. Bachelor Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to snag the final closeouts of 2019 gear before they’re gone and shop our brand new arrivals of 2020 winter gear.
