Friday, Sep. 27

Art Stroll In Sisters

  • FRI – Sisters is home to 20 art galleries, stroll through and view beautiful art, enjoy refreshments and live music.

A Great Gatsby Gala

  • FRI – Kick off the Bend Film Festival by arriving in Gatsby style. Enjoy craft cocktails, inspiring hors d’oeuvres, and prizes from Bend area businesses.

Basic Skills Standup Paddleboard Class

  • FRI-SUN – Don’t miss the last classes of the year, take a lesson on basic stand up paddle boarding from the Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe team.

 


Saturday, Sep. 28

2019 Green Tour (formerly called the Solar Home Tour)

  • SATAs The Environmental Center states: Now, more than ever, it’s important for all of us to make a change under our own roofs (or on them) — no matter how big or small. We hope the Green Tour inspires you to find new ways to save energy and go solar, at home and at work. This year the 19th Annual Green Tour, features a 1930’s retrofit, ADUs & cottages, battery storage, irrigation modernization, and lots more.

Buddy Walk

Conservation Summit

  • SAT – The Central Oregon Conservation Summit connects citizens, tourists, conservationists and researchers together as we face difficult population and climate change.

Fresh Hop Festival

Live Music

  • SAT – The Tower Theatre hosts John McEuen and the String Wizards with bluegrass, country, and west coast country rock mixtures.

Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory

  • SAT – Head to the Star Dome, an inflatable planetarium and interpreter led guided tour of space.

 


Sunday, Sep. 29

Sisters Farmers Market @ Fir Street Park

  • SUNSisters Farmers Market invites you to come on down for some small-town fun! Share the bounty of our special town in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Microlocal produce, artisanal foods, handcrafted goods, & more! Now on Sundays—featuring lunch, coffee, wellness demos, music, and a splash pad for the kids. This Sunday marks the final Farmers Market of the year.

Bigfoot & Brews

  • SUN – McMenamins Old St. Francis School in Downtown Bend hosts world-renowned speakers, researchers, and celebrities. “Finding Bigfoot” star Cliff Barackman and Monster X Radio hosts unravel hoaxes and stories.

 


Ongoing

Mt. Bachelor Bike Park

  • ONGOING – The Mt. Bachelor Bike Park offers 13 miles of downhill trails and different options for various skill levels.

Live Music

  • ONGOING – The Volcanic Theatre and Pub hosts live music that’ll move you. Check their calendar for live theatre and movies as well!

A Starry Night At The Observatory

  • ONGOING – Come to the Oregon Observatory at Sunriver at night and view a guided constellation tour with experts.
