The city of Culver (el. 2,640′, zip code 97734) is an incorporated town in Jefferson County of fewer than 1,500 people that is divided roughly in half by SW Culver HWY and is surrounded by agricultural farmlands. Culver is served by the Culver School District – which includes Culver Elementary School, Culver Middle School, and Culver High School. The most popular destination in the area is arguably Lake Billy Chinook – which includes The Cove Palisades State Park. The Central Oregon MLS includes the gated, off-grid resort community of Three Rivers Recreation Area as a subdivision within Culver, though it is a good 16 miles drive east of the town.
