Tetherow is located on Bend’s west side (97702 zip code) between Century Drive and NW Skyliners Road. It directly borders Broken Top to the east and the Deschutes National Forest to the west. The resort’s 700 acres were master-planned to include 181 townhomes, 408 single-family lots, and a luxury hotel & spa – all arranged around an 18-hole links-style golf course designed by David McLay Kidd.
The 22 homesites of The Cairn are located immediately south of the Tetherow Lodges hotel. These turn-key, two-story homes range from 2,700 – 3,100 square feet and offer 4 – 5 bedrooms and 5 – 5-1/2 bathrooms each. Interior finishes include hardwood flooring, quartz kitchen countertops, and gas fireplaces with several interior design packages choose from. Exterior options include gas firepits and hot tub hookups. Every home comes with a Tetherow social membership that can be upgraded to a golf membership. These units also have a right/restriction that they will be made available 38 weeks out of each year as short-term rentals through a professional property management company.
The Crescent (a.k.a. Tetherow Phases 1, 6, & 7)
The 125 homesites of the Crescent neighborhood are located on a divide that runs between the golf courses of Tetherow and neighboring Broken Top. This is the largest neighborhood in Tetherow both in terms of land area and the number of homes. The large homesites offer deep setbacks and more opportunities for privacy and larger homes.
The Glen (a.k.a. Tetherow Phase 2)
This neighborhood consists of 68 single-family lots sited among mature pines and open space in the southeast corner of Tetherow. A number of the homes have golf course and/or cascade mountain views.
The Heath (a.k.a. Tetherow Phases 3 & 4)
The Heath represents the second largest neighborhood in Tetherow and can be found on both sides of Skyline Ranch Road as you travel north in Tetherow from the hotel. 101 homesites comprise the Heath and most are located on gated streets off of Skyline Ranch Road. Many of the homesites have golf course views and some offer frontage on the fairways. Others back up to Deschutes National Forest land.
Located at the highest part of Tetherow within an easy walk from the hotel & spa, the 29 homesites that make up The Rim have views out to the golf course and the Cascade Mountains beyond. Five distinct floor plans designed in the craftsman style are offered. Routine yard maintenance and winter snow removal are handled by the homeowners association. Residents have the choice of purchasing a social membership or a golf membership at Tetherow.
Tartan Druim (a.k.a. Tetherow Phase 5)
Tartan Druim is comprised of 39 homesites on gated Cartwright Court. A dozen architect-designed one and two-story floor plans ranging between 2,700 to 4,800 square feet have been created specifically for this neighborhood. Roughly half of them are oriented with southeasterly views out over fairways 3-6, while the other half offers northwesterly views toward the Cascades. Between these two groups is a common area (Tartan Park) with a clubhouse. Common area maintenance, landscaping and snow removal are provided by the HOA and social membership and Tetherow golf membership are included with each property.
Outrider Overlook (aka The Cabins / Tetherow Cabins)
This small neighborhood is located along Meeks Trail – immediately across the street from The Rim. The entire subdivision is recorded with Deschutes County as Outrider Overlook, however, within Tetherow, the 22 lots along Outrider Loop are known as Outrider Overlook, while the 12 lots on Bonny Lane and Blue Bucket Lane are known as The Cabins (aka Tetherow Cabins). Inspired by The Not So Big House, the cabins were designed with enjoyment of living & ease of use combined with quality construction & materials. Floor plans include a 1,482 s.f. 1-1/2 story design as well as a larger, 1,776 s.f. 2-story design. Choose between two interior finish packages, modern or rustic, as well as standard (Kitchen-Aid) or upgraded appliances (Wolf Range, Subzero refrigerator and Asko dishwasher). Each unit has a single-car garage with extra storage. And all homes come standard with a social membership to Tetherow as well as membership to The Athletic Club Of Bend.
Tetherow Cascades Vista
This is the smallest neighborhood in Tetherow and consists of 15 homesites located on the opposite side of Meeks Trail from the Tripleknot neighborhood. Mid-sized lots of just under a quarter of an acre to nearly a half acre in size offer views to the golf course and Cascade mountains. Most of the lots back up to undeveloped land managed by the Bend Metropolitan Park & Recreation District.
The Trailhead At Tetherow
This small, 40-lot subdivision is located in the extreme southwest corner of Tetherow – directly across Skyline Ranch Road from the entrance to the Tetherow Lodges Hotel. The neighborhood is bordered on the south and west by Deschutes National Forest land. There are two different mountain contemporary designs to choose from ranging from 2,221 to 2,592 square feet. Both feature four en suite bedrooms and kitchens with upgraded appliances. Additionally, each home has a detached two-car garage with an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) located above it. These homes have a right/restriction that they will be made available 38 weeks out of each year as short-term rentals through a professional management company.
The 56 homesites of the Tripleknot neighborhood incorporate one and two-story architect-designed townhomes that incorporate Cascadian exterior architecture cues with contemporary interior décor. There are four different floor plans and all of them are exist in mirrored versions within duplex arrangements. Three of the plans are two-bedroom designs (both bedrooms have their own bathroom) while the fourth plan is a three-bedroom arrangement (all with their own bath) that has the option for a fourth bedroom (which converts the first-floor powder room to a full bath and shares access to it). Large chef kitchens and generous outdoor patios are hallmarks of this development. Nearly half of the homes have direct views out to the 10th and 11th fairways of the Tetherow Golf Course. Yard maintenance and snow removal are taken care of by the Home Owners Association.
